After adding Julia Meng#4079 | 882896945562153001 the manager, we get down to business. I'm informed that this is a great oppitunity to get stock signals which I can pay for in order to make money.
At this point, to be honest, I thought this was more of a shady practice business then a scam. Going around advertising on Discord is nothing new but something seemed a little off so I wanted to know more. They use all the buzz words in thier pitch like "unique algorithms", "world’s leading AI big data", "a round of quantitative analysis" and so on. Then showing screenshots of "happy customers". Pictures will be at the bottom.
What interested me the most about this scam was they proceeded to link me to the App Store and Google Play Store! These guys at Stock Sight got an app approved to make the scam look more legitimate clearly, the app itself is terrible but the goal is simple here. Add legitimacy.
Stock Sight is a fake front to the app with many "click to subscribe" for insane amounts of money and all the payment options lead to PayPal. I believe this is because Apps hold money before releasing it and these kinds of purchases would be too high. The Apple App store page does list the app's in-app puchases which are lower, I again assume because of a Apple imposed limit.
All in all, this app is a scam. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM STOCK SIGHT! I've taken lots of screenshots of the app so if you see something similar in future you know the scam!
I messed with them a little at the end, a fun read for you all.
